A Very Unique Piece of History
Since building the #038 Café, we’ve had “thumbs up” feedback from all corners of the world. There is no question that we created a bike reminiscent of a true café racer…simple in design, no frills and all business. But what even surprised us was the machine’s classic road hugging, adrenaline pumping performance coupled with its spectacular good looks.
With the encouragement of enthusiasts everywhere, we decided to produce a limited number of very special classic Norton Café bikes. We have committed to build a total of 12 Café bikes over the next two years. The new machine will incorporate many design elements from #038 but will be enhanced from the core up. Below are some of the highlights which promise to make this a spectacular machine with features and performance never seen on a vintage custom build... until now.
- Modified Commando frame
- Hand formed alloy body panels by Evan Wilcox
- Dual Brembo disc front end and single Brembo disc rear end
- Fuel injection designed by Jim Comstock
- Big bore, high compression Commando engine
