Media Tumble Service


Service description: A strong and beautiful finish for cases and heads

Details:

  • Parts get pressure cleaned and media blasted
  • The tumble finish will give the part a very nice shine and luster
  • Because of the ‘shot peen’ effect this also strengthens the alloy
  • The internal sides of the cases become smooth and slick, which oil wont stick to. Same result as painting the internal surfaces
  • The media is mild enough not to cause any changes in the overall appearance of the piece. Edges wont get rounded and critical dimensions wont change

In order for the part to get a tumble finish they will first have to get cleaned and blasted. This will ensure a uniform and beautiful finish. We will spend a given time on each piece to sand and work out damaged areas such as gouges and deep scratches

Polishing Service


Service description: Full show polish

Service description:  Turn and polish crank journals

Detail:

  • Precision turned with state of the art equipment to proper Commando specs.

Barrel & Lifter Service


Service description:  Precision bore, hone and finish barrel

Detail:

  • Barrel is pressure washed
  • Barrel is put through a heat cycle to stabilize
  • Bores are checked for parallel and corrected if necessary
  • Precision bore to size
  • Final hone to finish
  • Barrel top surface is decked
  • Ceramic coating applied. High gloss Black
  • All top mounting threads are cleaned and chased
