Motorcycle Engine | Transmission | Options & Extras | Scheduling, Shipping, & Delivery

For those who are building their own custom Norton motorcycle, we now offer total motorcycle engine rebuilds and transmission rebuilding. This service is offered on a limited availability basis that is keyed to our full CNW custom motorcycle rebuild scheduling. It must be noted that these transmission rebuilds and motorcycle engine work services will be done to the same "stock" specifications (cam choice is the only exception), with the same high level of detail and finish, and with the same list of optional extras as is available on CNW complete Norton motorcycle rebuilds.

These are "total" rebuilds in every sense, both mechanically and cosmetically. Since every machine goes through the same exacting process of machine work, parts replacement, upgrading, and detail finishing, we are able to offer this service at a standard base price. Plus, since we use top-of-the-line custom motorcycle accessories and stainless steel motorcycle parts, you can rest assured you're receiving a rebuilt engine of the highest quality.

A total motorcycle engine rebuild is $4195. A transmission rebuild is $695. Note: The base price assumes that all major components are serviceable or repairable. Replacement parts are at extra cost. Speak to us for any questions. See the highlights that follow and note the comprehensive list of standard features that are not normally found on most Norton Commando motorcycle rebuild work. This is the CNW difference.

Motorcycle Engine Scheduling, Shipping, & Delivery Terms

Scheduling your motorcycle engine and/or transmission rebuild is done to mesh with our existing calendar of complete custom motorcycle rebuilds. As you can appreciate, this maximizes our efficiency and gives you reliable completion dates. Please contact us to check on available calendar dates.

We ask a deposit of $2000 upon receipt of your motorcycle engine and/or a deposit of $300 for your transmission. This initiates the rebuild process. Once the teardown and inspection steps have been completed, we will let you know of any extra work that is required. If extra charges are necessary or options are chosen, we will ask that they be paid at that time. All motorcycle engine and transmission rebuilds are warranted for defective parts and/or errors in workmanship. We include a "build sheet" listing all work performed on your engine with appropriate specifications for your records and reference. Also included is a detailed break-in schedule and check sheet. This will guide you through those early critical miles and the required re-torque and valve adjustment rituals. (Records of these re-torque and valve adjustments are necessary for our warranty.)
