Norton Commando Custom Motorcycle Builder
Welcome to the Colorado Norton Works website
Colorado Norton Works opened its doors in 1997 with the idea to take, what I consider one of the most exciting vintage motorcycles ever built, and bring it to a whole different level of performance, finish and detail. I wanted to do something different and the goal being to bring these bikes back on the road where they belong.
Over the years cNw have developed, sourced and implemented parts and modifications that make these bikes better in every area. These machines are not a ‘restoration’ but rather rebuilds that address all the shortcomings that these machines have. At the same time we are careful not to loose the bikes identity as it’s important to me that they keep the heritage that make them so unique. The results are some truly amazing machines. Take a look in my photo gallery for some examples of what I have created and you will find not only bikes that look very close to a stock Commando, but also some where I wanted to take a fresh approach and push the limits of what could be done.
Over the years, cNw has become a leader in bringing new parts and improvements to the market in the quest to make these machines as good as they can possibly get. I have packaged many of these upgrades so that those that want to work on their own bikes can benefit from what I have learned working on these machines. These parts can be found in the parts catalog. Keep checking back as I am continuously adding new and exciting parts and modifications for your Commando. Some are big and some are small but they all have a purpose to improve your bike.
I am very passionate about what is being done here at cNw doing and with each and every bike that comes through the shop I feel that I am doing my part in bringing the most usable vintage British motorcycle back on the road….looking and running better than ever. These machines truly are ‘reborn’.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my website.
